Description |

This paddock drains west to east along the southern boundary.Runoff is picked up by a drain on the eastern end of the paddock and travels to the re-use dam at the eastern end of the property.The western half of this paddock was sown to Matrix perennial ryegrass and the eastern half to Revolution perennial ryegrass in 2008. |

Irrigation System |

This paddock was originally set up for flood irrigation but was converted to sub-surface drip irrigation in 2008 as part of an extensive trial. In two of the irrigation blocks drip tapes are buried 200mm deep at a tape spacing of 800mm and an emitter spacing of 500mm. The third irrigation block has been established at 500mm tape spacing and 500mm emitter spacing. (See project reports for further details) |
