Description |
|
This paddock is a consolidation of two smaller paddocks and drains west to east along the southern boundary.Runoff is picked up by a drain on the eastern end of the paddock and travels to the re-use dam at the eastern end of the property.The western half of this paddock was sown to Matrix perennial ryegrass and the eastern half to Revolution perennial ryegrass in 2008. |

Irrigation System |

This paddock was originally set up for flood irrigation but was converted to sub-surface drip irrigation in 2008 as part of an extensive trial. Drip tapes are buried 200mm deep at a tape spacing of 800mm and an emitter spacing of 500mm. (See project reports for further details) |
